Laurentiu’s story began in Constanta, Romania. At 19, he left home with the desire to work, learn, and build a larger life.

His path later moved through international hospitality, the United States, the United Kingdom, military service, higher education, and entrepreneurship.

Each stage required discipline, adaptation, humility, and the ability to rebuild.

From fast-moving international work environments to the structure of the U.S. Navy, from academic development to building businesses from the ground up, Laurentiu’s experience shaped a practical understanding of pressure, leadership, human behavior, responsibility, and personal direction.

This is why Design Your Destiny does not approach growth as a simple idea.

Laurentiu Stefan Mocanu is the founder of Stefan Financial and Management LLC and the creator of Design Your Destiny.

He is a U.S. Navy Veteran with more than 20 years of international work and life experience across demanding environments.

His academic background includes:
